Siddardha College of Education, Musunur, Kavali, SPSR Nellore District was established in the year 1984 as per the G.O. M.S No 436 Education (SE-TRG) Department, dated 14-09-1984, with an intake capacity of 100 seats from the academic year 1984-1985.
Permanent affiliation was sanctioned by the S.V. University, Tirupathi on 16-09-1994 vide letter No: 1492/C.III/L/84, and the intake was raised to 160 seats from the academic year 1994-1995. Later in the year 2010, the College was transferred to the VikramaSimhapuri University, Nellore from S.V. University, Tirupathi. The College was sanctioned with Permanent Affiliation by the VikramaSimhapuri University vide letter No:VSU/B.Ed/Siddardha/Permanent Affiliation/2010-11 dated 16-10-2012.
NCTE, Bangalore has granted recognition to this Institution initially in the year 1998 vide F./SRO/NCTE/98-99/559 dated 12-05-98. In the year 2010 after Inspection,has given continuation of recognition vide letter No: F.SRO/NCTE/B.Ed.2010/21210. And on the 06-05-2015, NCTE has given permission for 3 units vide letter No: F.No/SRC/ NCTE/ AOSO0421/B.Ed/AP/2015/ 64124.
